Gelsomina De Lucia is an indie film director and writer passionate about utilising the macabre to showcase  how horror constantly stalks our everyday lives. Her first short film - Dormant -  was nominated for a  BFI MediaMag Award in 2015. Since then, Gelsomina De Lucia has gone on to achieve a BA honours in Film and Television and an MA in Media and Communications. Adjacent  to her further education, she made her debut with 'ALEX', a film that she co-wrote, directed, starred in, edited and set and costume designed for.  Recently, ALEX was awarded an 'Honourable Mention Award' by London X4  Seasonal Short Film Festival  and was selected to be streamed on IndieClips. Simultaneously, Gelsomina De Lucia has completed  professional work for companies such as Agile Films,  Mark Summers Casting, OBR Studios, Rogue Studios, Francesca Greene Casting and Actingkidz Agency.
